Tyler Robinson, accused of fatally shooting Charlie Kirk, during a court hearing in Provo, Utah
After the assassination of Charlie Kirk, a bizarre schism developed among right-leaning influencers. Instead of uniting the disparate divisions of conservative thought, some of Kirk’s biggest supporters, including Candice Owens and Tucker Carlson, began to question the official story about the facts of the case, insinuating that Tylor Robinson, the man arrested at the scene, may not have been the shooter or could have been working for somebody else – including Kirk’s widow and/or the Israeli government.
Despite the absurdity off this speculation, it has found some support among other influencers in the political sphere, especially those on the left who increasingly see Israel and the Jews as, once again, controlling the world. But as Douglas Murray says in this article from The Free Press, “It looks like we may be about to see a conspiracy theory fall apart in real time.”
